image not doing a proper shutdown

Hi,

When i issue a shutdown -h now on the image, it comes to halt at the end, however the domU doesn't terminate in the end. If i do a xm console on the domU, it shows me the image has shutdown, but the domU is in suspended mode.

If it helps, i am running debian lenny 5.0 with 2.6.26-2-xen-amd64 kernel on it.

I downloaded another image, this time ubuntu 9.10 64bit, and the same behavior, when doing a shutdown from xm shutdown or from inside the image, the image shows shutdown in the end, however doesn't terminate in the end.
